Last Week’s Cardinal Recap

The North Idaho Cardinals dominated their opponents last week. 

Their week started at home against Big Bend last Wednesday, where the Lady Cardinals won 56-48. After the excitement throughout the woman’s game, the crowd was certainly prepared for the men’s game.

The Mens Cardinals had quite a victors game, against Big Bend, winning 102-74. The Mens Cardinals didn’t stop there for they continued on that following Saturday agents Treasure Valley, toppling over them 99-69. Xavier Bailey showed great leading points on the scoreboard and great leadership skills alongside his teammate Julius Mims.

The Men’s team wasn’t the only successful team for the ladies had also traveled back from Treasure Valley, with a win last Saturday 60-50. Paige Beem with sixteen points against Treasure Valley, and not far behind is her teammate, Solei Elletson, both a force on the floor last week.  

NIC’s Men’s wrestling team did not have any tournaments this week as they prepare for Wresting Districts this Sunday, February 12th, in Oregon City.
