NIC wrestling tops NJCAA poll

The North Idaho College wrestling team moved up to No. 1 in the NJCAA poll today. It overtook Northwest College, which dropped to No. 2 in the rankings.

NIC will wrestle Northwest College (Powell, Wyo.) Dec. 13 at 7 and Clackamas Community College, which moved from No. 5 to No. 4 in the rankings, Dec. 14 at noon. Both matches are conference matches at Christianson Gymnasium. The Cardinals (1-1) will wrestle 15th-ranked Western Wyoming Community College tomorrow in Las Vegas before competing in the Las Vegas Invitational Friday and Saturday.
