Blood Drive on Campus April 25
NIC will host a community blood drive 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 outside the Edminster Student Union Building.
Appointments are encouraged.
Students can earn gift cards for their donations while helping to save a life.

Theatre student Serah Fina Dwyer has been donating for about 10 years. She says it makes her feel like she’s doing something meaningful.
Merry Meyers has been extracting blood for 23 years. She loves it when a patient comes back to tell her that they needed blood at some point. The circle was completed.
Basic Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Eat two hours before donation.
- Drink plenty of water 48-hour prior
- Bring ID
- Do not be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs when donating
