Brief: Philosophy department gains courses

The philosophy department is expanding, and students will soon have an opportunity to study some of the greatest thinkers from the Eastern Hemisphere. The new class, Eastern Philosophy, will be offered in the spring, followed by a Political and Social Philosophy course to be offered next fall. Both classes are 200-level courses and are part of an effort to increase the enrollment of philosophy majors.
