Local author “book”-ed at public library

Controversial author Chris Crutcher, speaks on the topic of banned books at the public library.

Chris Crutcher, 64, of Spokane, Wash. is the celebrated and controversial author of 13 books, including 10 novels, two short story compilations,and an autobiography.

Crutcher is one of the most frequently banned authors in North America, coming in at number eight. He said he sees it more as an accomplishment than a drawback.

Crutcher will be speaking Friday, Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library.

    I usually visit the public library to get time and read more of the olden books.Thanks for the information and i love the site
