The men’s Cardinal basketball team went 19-0 after beating Yakima Valley in an intense rally last Saturday.

Head Coach Coery Simone’s discussing the game plan.

Yakima brought some height to this game, but it did not stop the North Idaho Cardinals. They went neck and neck almost the whole game. Half time the Cardinals were only up by two.

The second half had the crowd on the edge of their seats, but in the fourth quarter the Yaks began to get in foul trouble, and the Cardinals took over the game on the free-throw line.

Brendon Johnson scored thirty-one points, and Codi Campbell had thirty points. Most of his teammates were not far behind, and together they played an incredible game.

The Lady Cardinals lost by only nine points against the Yaks. However, the bank was open for Kaylee banks, as she led the scoreboard with thirty- four points.
