Writing at the Writing Center

Are you facing challenges with your writing? Do you have a paper due soon but are finding it difficult to finish those final pages? Look to the writing center for assistance.

The Writing Center offers one-on-one support with all your writing needs, from brainstorming ideas to polishing final drafts. The tutors are experienced NIC English teachers who can guide you through any subject, helping you overcome writer’s block, organization issues, or grammar challenges.

They can help writing specifically with:
– any class-assigned paper (including essays)
– scholarship applications
– resumes/cover letters
– personal writing projects

There are two main perks at the writing center. There is free printing, so you don’t have to pay like some other places. The other is that is this is completely free to all students!

The writing center is open Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
