Sayonara, Sodexo: A New Dining Service Provider is Chosen

Beginning June 1st, 2024, Aladdin Campus Dining will be NIC’s new dining service provider. NIC has issued a “Notice of Intent to Award” to Aladdin Campus Dining, per NIC Senior Accountant Steve McGroarty.

This comes after a Request for Proposals, or RFP, made by NIC. We detailed it in a previous article. Proposals were reviewed by an NIC committee which named two finalists: the incumbent Sodexo and the newcomer, Aladdin Campus Dining. 

For the current employees of Sodexo that NIC students might’ve gotten familiar with, they should receive the opportunity to keep their jobs at NIC, according to the RFP. 

NIC will be joining Southern Oregon University and Pierce College as the only three colleges served by Aladdin in the Pacific Northwest as of now.
