to study Biology and Physics with on-site tutors on Wednesday evening in preparation for next week’s midterm exams.

Students gathered to study for midterms at the Molstead Library’s Night at the Library on Wednesday evening.

Many students learned from the on-site tutors in fields such as Mathematics, Biology and English.  The event also featured free sandwiches, chips, soda, vegetables and cookies.

Jestine Lackner (right) and Paul McLoud (left) sign students into the event and give out raffle tickets to win a $50 Amazon gift card or a GoPro.

Seven lucky students in the library won $50 Amazon gift cards during the event, and there were previews of future prizes.

The IT helpdesk also had a table to assist students with technology-related issues and problems.

Edited on 3/4/2020:  Corrected errors in the prizes given away during the event.

Trevor Mechikoff is a second year student at North Idaho College. He is studying mathematics and cybersecurity. This is his first and likely last foray into journalism.
