Swing into Fall with Actors, Vagabonds, and Such

Actors, Vagabonds, and Such is hosting a community-wide swing dance Sept. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in order to raise money for the club.

The event, called Swing into Fall, will offer students the opportunity to swing dance and enjoy live music inside the Boswell Hall. Anyone within the community is welcome, and a professional swing dancer will be available to teach attenders the basic steps of swing dancing.

Club President Hannah James said this is the club’s first kick-off fundraiser of the year, as they started off with “minimal to no funding.” Admission to the event is $5 per person with concessions sold inside; the money from these sales will go directly back to the club in hopes to host bigger events later this year. 

Actors, Vagabonds, and Such is a club of theater enthusiasts who aim to serve their campus community by providing extra-scholastic activities such as field trips to local theatrical performances.
