The men’s Cardinals end the week with 16 – 0 record.
The Cardinals started the week off on the road last Wednesday, against the Big Bend Vikings. The men came home with a fantastic win, the final score being 84 – 78, keeping their fantastic undefeated record. The Lady Cardinals lost to Big Bend by 14 points, but no doubt put up a fight till the end.
The Cardinals moved on to battle against the Walla Walla Warriors that following Saturday. The Lady Cardinals fought till the end and only lost by 6 points. Though the girls didn’t win, #14 Solei Elletson had 33 points throughout the night and showed great leadership alongside her teammates. The men’s team beat the Warriors with a final score of 100 – 67 ending the weekend with a 16-0 record. #23 Taden King was the leading scorer of the night with 33 points and #2 Cobi Campbell came off the bench as a great force on the court.
NIC Wresting Team Brings Home Trophy!
The Men’s Basketball team wasn’t the only group to have a great weekend. North Idaho’s very own wrestling team traveled to Miami, Oklahoma for the National Dual wrestling match. The Cardinals finished in 3rd place! Great work to all the Cardinal student-athletes.
